Today's comedy moment from the idiotic mass media...

Glenn Greenwald is apparently very concerned about Whitehouse leaks.

Seriously. The guy's whose only fame comes from working with one of the biggest 'leaks' of all time. But that was a leak against Obama so I guess that's good in Greenwald land.

I think having his fellow Putin-loving buddy Trump in the Whitehouse changes everything for Greenwald.

Greenwald is fast-tracking his way to full wing-nut status if he isn't there already. He's certainly earned 1st class 'villager' status with this tweet.

I think the Stellaris thread may have bugged out as well. I can't get page 3 to load; it just reloads page 2.

Apparently so. Please log off and I'll run some thread and post re-indexing. I've been a bit remiss in normal maintenance.

It appears that the problem has been resolved.

I can see the last page/post on all of the known problem threads.

I was way overdue to run all the thread & post re-indexing processes.

Indeed, Happy Canada Day.

It was the big 150 this year. Lots of fireworks last night.

Btw, there are official rumors that pot will be officially legalized in Canada effective next July 1st.

My cousin from Toronto was down here for a few days. I did my best to find a Canada bar, but I think with our proximity to Canada and the fact of how migration works, as well as Cleveland being a smaller city it was largely in vain. We also don't have hockey, which probably didn't help.

There is a place near me that does some version of poutine and they were running specials or whatever. They had some canadian flags up, but the proprietors aren't Canadian and the staff clearly didn't give a heck.

We did find some ex-pats on the patio.

Then later, drunk at 3am at the diner, Cousin was terrorizing random Americans by running up to them and yelling HAPPY CANADA DAY.

Good times.

I was very unimpressed with the July 1st fireworks.

7 minutes start to finish and the music choreography was utterly laughable (some cheesey pop medley with Bryan Adams, Tragically Hip and other big name Canadian pop-rock bands that had no connection with the fireworks at all).

I think I got spoiled by the old Benson & Hedges Symphony of Fire series from many years ago. Those firework displays were spectacular and choreographed to classical music that flowed beautifully.

Really lovely vacation in Northern Michigan, somewhere I haven't been in over 20 years.

Northern Michigan and Canada, I should say, as we spent two nights on the Canada side of Sault Ste. Marie.

Experiencing the locks in action was very cool!
