Wow. Fox fires Bill O'Reilly, the guy who had 4 million views a night and (IIRC) was their highest income earner.

Simple business decision. The man is a serious legal liability. Fox obviously decided that the legal cost/risk outweighed the potential profits.

Fox already had to payoff some victims of O'Reilly and more of them are lining up every day.

Random things from today:

Bought a 32" Smart TV for $140 from Craigslist. It's the most I've ever paid for a tv. Possibly the only time I've ever paid for one at all...

Went to the Museum of the American Revolution. It's amazing. You should go if you're ever around Philly.

Bought Stellaris (it's on sale for $12).

It's the Humble Monthly Bundle. You get Stellaris (as a Stream key) and at the end of the month you get several other things.

https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly

You have to sign up with them, but you can just cancel it immediately.

Used to be that 95% of all the spammer's who sign up here to post spam links were from Pakistan or India. It has been like this for years.

Now it seems like well over 50% have American IP addresses in the last year or so.

Hey, it even runs on my little laptop! Granted, the graphics are set to low and its only a small galaxy with a few hundred stars, and I hear it tends to bog down more and more as the game progresses, but still...

I was expecting to have to do a slew of modifications just to get it to run passably at the beginning. This gives one hope. I'll still probably wait until Utopia and Leviathan go on sale this summer to really get into it, though.

Speaking of which, we haven't had an updated review from Dominick lately...
