Default Ireland have a gay Prime Minister.

Ireland have a gay Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar. He's a conservative. I'm happy about both those points - less homophobia, and more conservatism.

Well done, Ireland. I don't care about his sexual preferences, but I do care about his policies. He's a winner.

Yes indeed, well done Ireland.

Not only gay but the son of an immigrant too, as the leader of a center-right party. Ireland has come a long way!
