Default Yevpatoria

We will be flying off on Sunday, will spend the next few weeks in sunny Yevpatoria, in now, once again, Russian Crimea

It has everything. The "Banana Republic" water park, which the children will love

Sand beaches (the only place in the former Soviet Union, Crimea, which has real sandy beaches, Sochi does not, even Abkhazia does not, though they have lately been making some artificial ones to try to compete)

Beautiful architecture

Beautiful natural views

Just a great place to go for vacation in summer

And, the government and many patriotic private employers, myself included, have been offering our people incentives to got there, instead of Turkey or Thailand, or some other popular foreign place. Many are going. So are we.

I will also get to see a couple old friends, fellow Marines, who transferred to the Black Sea Fleet way back when, years ago, when some of us, including me, finished our service terms and demobilized. Those guys wanted to keep on serving, so, kept on, both went to Sevastopol, and made careers of it, became officers.

They both have demobilized since then, but both stayed in Crimea, settled down with local women, started families. When it all started, joined the self-defence militias. One was specifically in a unit of all ex-Marines, which stormed Ukrainian Navy ships at the port

He received the medal "For Service to the Fatherland".

So, children will have fun, we will also enjoy ourselves, I will reconnect with old friends, and also, at the same time, show a big middle finger to Kiev. Their new minister of defence thinks he will oversee a victory parade in Sevastopol one day: http://en.apa.az/news/213540
Come to Sevastopol, Ukrainian bitch. They will cut your head off and send it back in a box. It is a Russian city, and it is Russian Crimea, always was, is, and will be. And God help any Ukrainian leader and their pathetic excuse for a military if they ever attempt to take it back. Russia will rain hell down on them from the sky.

But, I digress. Anyway, we will be flying away on Sunday evening, and be back in three weeks. Will post many nice photos when return.

I have no reason to doubt him. If he says he's going there for a vacation with his family and is looking forward to it, I certainly believe him.

He is Polish, therefore pro-Ukraine to the death, even though they had killed many more of his people, even in WWII, than us Russians. Soviet NKVD killed 20,000 at Katyn. Stepan Bandera and his Ukrainian nationalist UPA slaughtered over 100,000 in Volyn. But they still like Ukrainians better Polyaks are not very wise people, what can you do

Thanks for the well-wishes, anyway.

Do you consider that an appropriate reaction to someone saying 'Seriously'?

I think you've made a fool of yourself.

I can guess why he would say that. Poland and Polyaks are no friend of ours right now. As you should well know, living there.
