I'm Zedrow.

I've seen most here at USPO in the past, and I respect their opinions, which is why I decided to follow. I post more questions than answers, and they are sincere questions, not intended to be leading in any way.

After looking through the threads for a while I know I will find a lot of information here that fills in the gaps for me.

I'm an engineer who has interests in almost everything (expect psychology, so I may be at a disadvantage here, lol) and I'm very open to other opinions or points of view. I'm not religious at all, and after reading many posts from people like Doc I find that I tend to see things more as a Libertarian than anything else, not because I was turned into one but because he provided the best explanation of what one was.

Nice site Michael, and good people here.

I think not.

I think that those with truly large egos would tend to avoid posting at discussion forums as that exposes them to critique and bubble-bursting and no great ego can stand for that (troll-like behavior is the exception of course - they are oblivious to the critiques).

Ergo, I'd expect to find more moderate egos posting in a forum - seeking knowledge or learning (or the company of fellow cynics).

I will perhaps agree that "humble" might not be the best word to describe our little forum here, though I should hope we fall short of 'pretentious'.

Pretentious is acceptable in the right circumstance.
