No I don't (which should be self-evident).

Well yes, that's rather obvious isn't it? One has to have troops on the ground if one wants to actually defeat and armed enemy. No boots on ground means you won't win.

Which is still a poor name for it since it's certainly no state and it isn't actually Islamic either. I'd call them NOD after the terrorist faction in the Command & Conquer franchise which they resemble to a remarkable degree.

It was said when someone bombed a Russian plane that Putin was really pissed off because terrorist acts are only acts of war when they happen to you, and not when someone bombs, drones, or "shocks and awes" other people.

Now, France is allegedly really pissed off and is going to increase its bombing in Syria to quell ISIS or the Arab Spring, or to get rid of Assad, or to keep Assad in power, or...

The little factoid that, again, might be worth remembering, is that the US dropped over 7 million TONS of bombs on Vietnam.

Turkey's semi-official Anadolu news agency quoted Turkish presidential sources in reporting that the Russian Su-24 was "hit within the framework of engagement rules" in Syria's Bayirbucak area, near the border with Turkey.

But Russia's state-run Sputnik news agency said that, "According to preliminary reports, the plane was gunned down from the ground."

Russian officials denied that the plane had violated Turkish airspace. Both pilots ejected from the plane, but their fate is unknown, Sputnik said.

Cowardly Turkish dogs can only bark from behind NATO.

Why do all your Western nations not step back, eject the Turks from NATO, and let us and them settle what we have not back in 19th century? We ought to nuke Ankara and return Constantinople (not Istanbul like those monkeys call it) to the Orthodox Christian world.

But, as it is, I hope the Air Force just wipes out those precious Syrian Turkmen villages Erdogan cares so much about right off the map. Good Turk is dead Turk.

You are understandably angry, but do you really think all out war with Turkey is the right path?
