Makes one wonder why Burma and Liberia are so backward and inefficient.
Maybe the US Congress could add farthings and shillings to the monetary system and switch to driving on the left-hand side of the road?

Well, I can't see much need for farthings (1/8th of a penny) these days. We in Canada have discontinued the 1 cent coin.
Btw, Canada may be listed as officially metric country, but this country is not metric, not by a long shot. Miles, feet, pounds, inches still dominate everywhere. Very few people have much of a clue about metric measures.
