![]() Wow. What more can one say?
I think it is long past time for the Muslims to deal with this Muslim problem. If that was a Christian group doing it, or victim of it, all hell would be raining down on them right now. Why won't Muslims stand up for Muslim victims of Muslim atrocities? (I know, they are too busy raising money for ISIS). ![]()

![]() A bit funny actually that now that Daesh is getting their ass kicked on all fronts, there's barely any attention for the conflict anymore. Guess when news doesn't serve the xenophobic hysteria, it's not news at all.

![]() Or alternatively, if the news doesn't serve the desire for war, it is not news.

![]() Seventy-six civilians were killed by US air strikes in Syria yesterday, ho hum. Nobody knows and nobody cares.
http://news.antiwar.com/2016/07/19/u...orthern-syria/ But, according to Republicans, four Americans killed in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012 is still big news.

![]() Michael Reagan has an article in the Florida-Times-Union, today, in which he calls for an all-out bombing of ISIS, "which includes men, women, and children if they don't get out of the way."
I just sent this letter in response: Dear Editor, In response to today's Michael Reagan column The US must lead in destroying ISIS: ISIS, al-Qaeda, al-nusra, Muqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army, and other Mid-Eastern rebels are not conventional organized armies run by governments, and like the Viet Cong who had no air force, are not easily destroyed by conventional forces, if they can be destroyed at all. Support for those groups may indicate that many Mid-Easterners no longer want to be ruled by Western lap-dog dictators and kings, and the idea that their lives might be better without the intervention of Western governments. Before spending billions of more US taxpayer dollars and the lives of more US soldiers, it might be well to remember Victor Hugo's opinion that "Even armies cannot stop an idea whose time has come." ![]() The Time-Union ran my above letter today with just a tiny bit of editing that makes it more readable.

![]() Coincidentally, this Mid-East/Vietnam analogy is dated yesterday:
