Indeed, I'm amazed he lived so long.

I have now officially 'seen it all'.

Today, driving home from work, I saw not one, not two, but THREE vehicles with xmas lights decorating the inside of their vehicle. One was a Jeep, one was a mini-van and the other was a big fat-ass SUV.

Seriously, they had a string of flashing/colored lights inside their vehicles.

This world is getting fucking weird.

Shouldn't that be an eggnog in honor of the season?

Alas, I have one more day before I'm off until January 3rd.

So, does anyone have any plans for the 'holiday season'?

I remember back in my youth (late teens, twenties and even thirties) when planning for a special New Year's Eve party was always a major event. Now I guess I'm getting old because I begrudge paying so much money and dressing up to go to some crowded and noisy place, just to drink champagne and chit-chat with airhead party people I don't really know.

Yes, being bored because my usual activities grind to a halt because of the extra intense Celebration of Consumerism.

Two weeks off with my wife, the tail end of which will be spent trying to create progeny to pointlessly bring into this broken world, the rest of which will be spent generally boozing and and carousing.
