I will assert that American democracy is a hoax and always has been. US Constitution isn't democratic and never was and never was meant to be. The US Constitution was designed to protect the rights of slave-owners. Now it protects the rights of billionaires and gun-fetishers.

Thankfully, "American democracy" isn't western democracy.
