The evolutionary puzzle of homosexuality
Wow!

That's amazing. That article looks like a perfect reply to the OP!!!

Whoever proves evolution will get a Nobel prize. These are just conjectures. Like hawking's imaginary time explanation for the Big Bang.

Please someone try to reply to what I actually say in here... At least try... Lol...

Well, you don't say much precise

One doesn't 'prove' evolution. Evolution is a complex of scientific theories. Each of these are consistent with known data and they aren't disproven. They're falsifiable but they aren't falsified.

I don't know what you mean by 'hawking's imaginary time explanation for the Big Bang'. This non-scientific term refers to a solution of Einstein's relativity equations. If you found an error in those equations feel free to present them. That will earn you a Field Medal. There's no Nobel Prize for mathematics, alas.

Hawking uses imaginary numbers to explain a concept called imaginary time. He claims that Imaginary time exists as opposed to being a mathematical trick to make physics computations easier.

As for evolution, there is still no way to explain how mutation turns to evolution.

I will give you a simple example:
- Take the DNA of an Ape. Try using the chemical reactions that are possible inside the Ape cell to move up to the common ancestor he supposedly shares with the human being. Then move back down to the human DNA also using chemical reactions.

Such chemical reactions are not known or possible. All we have for the theory of evolution is inference. Which is why it is not a proven model for biological process.

Take newtonian model for gravity as a counter example. It is well explained and provable in its domain of application. Same for Quantum mechanics and relativity. Meaning that for these scientific theories you can perform experiments to show that they are true. For evolution all you have is inference. We are still at the same place where Darwin was when he postulated his theory.

Hence no proof. Come up with a proof and get a Nobel Prize. Don't waste your time in here.

Oh, that. That's not Hawking's work. You've read A Brief History of Time and nothing else, haven't you?
Imaginary time is no more outlandish than imaginary numbers and without those we'd have no scientific progress in over a century. Discussing whether either of these are 'real' is pointless (which is also what Hawking says about them by the way). What is 'real' anyway ? Is π real ? In the mathematical sense it is, but in the philosophical sense?

You've got this all wrong. The basic chemical reactions involved with DNA are completely understood and unambiguous. The process you're alluding to doesn't occur at that level but on the much higher, emergent level of the functioning of the entire genome.

The Newtonian model for gravity is disproven actually. It's not correct for our universe because our universe doesn't have an Euclidean geometry. It's because its predictions didn't agree with observation that relativity emerged.

Prove evolution? That's not how the game works.

Can't prove gravity either.

The point is, such theories stand until they are DISPROVEN. Neither theory has yet been disproven (notwithstanding limits on Newton's theory vis-a-vis relativity).

Michael: fine, then the Adam and Eve theory stands until it is disproven as well.

And Dominick, provide an authorative link about how the mutation chemical reactions are well understood.

As for Newton and imaginary time read what I wrote again and then respond.

Adam and Eve, as such, are disproved by genetics and rejected by the Catholic Church.
