Euro 2016, football (men) has just started, in France. Who will win?

Sepp Blather hasn't filled me in on the plan yet!

Apparently your English fans/hooligans are getting beaten down by Russians and local French in Marseille: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...breakfast.html

I actually have seen some reports of the French and Russians attacking the English TOGETHER, side by side. So much for that Ango-French NATO alliance

Anyway, according to our media Russian police have sent representatives who are working with French police and attempting to restrain our side's fans. English police also have people there, as Daily Mail mentions in the article.

Crazy. This is why I only watch football on TV now...

Indeed. I am disappointed since England lost a lead right at the end, but it isn't over til the referee blows the whistle.

Germany v Ukraine 2-0 - Germany are world champions, and I regard them as favourites to win Euro 2016. But Spain, who, until a few years ago, were Europe's undisputed number one for half a decade, will be looking to make a come-back. They play against the Czech Republic in about half an hour. Let's hope for a great tournament with good and fair play!

Seems like Trump is infecting even the language!

Anyway, the Euro 2016 is off-cycle to the World Cup perhaps? Sporting world needs high level tournaments.

Yes, I'd be very hesitant to attend a live football match in England.

The fans do take their footie seriously in old Blighty.
