Default Genius simplicity

A friend who is now a high placed official in the Moscow Metro recently invited me for an underground tour I cannot post any photographs of depots, tunnels and such as, believe it or not, that is still considered classified state secret information here

However, this I can and will post, as I thought it was fascinating.

They use trucks like this

with wheels converted for driving on rails, to deliver workers, tools, and materials to wherever they are needed in the Metro system, new infrastructure (stations, tunnels, etc) being built; or existing one undergoing repair or renovation.

Those are pretty standard. I've even seen special purpose rail-maintenance vehicles that can drive on the road but also have track-wheels so they can drive on rail-road tracks.

Indeed. Railroad Troops here often ride around on multiple purpose trucks like this

Yes, the 'rail bogies' can be raised or lowerd as needed. That's the kind of vehicle that I've seen in use for our subways and railroad maintenance.

Lightbulb Sydney Opera House

When design meets inference, you get real functionalism profitability.

If you look at the famous Sydney Opera House in Sidney, Australia, for example, you notice a specially-designed culture transit building that looks like a tiered seashell, inviting people to make design connections between adaptation and robustness.
