They do fine, those that want to do fine and be good citizens and not create trouble.

Putin meets leaders of Milli Firqa, an ancient Crimean Tatar group which rose against pro Kiev Mejlis in March and openly opposed their agenda of inciting strife between Tatar and Russian population. MF instead urges harmony between the neighbors of different ethnic groups and acceptance of and cooperation with the new Russian authorities. As Mejlis in marginalized they have only risen in prominence. The elders who met Putin all received medals for Service to the Motherland, for sending their young men to fight alongside ethnic Russian activists against pro Kiev Maidaners and Mejlisers at Simferopol central square and elsewhere during the street battles before order was restored on the Peninsula.

Here is a nice photo from Crimea, let Ukrainians know, if ever they decide to act on those threats of theirs to try to take it back by force, even children will rise to fight them

They will not though, not stupid. Try to make it across the narrow bottleneck leading from mainland to peninsula, under Russian missiles stationed along the border

They would all be blown and burned to pieces. And they know it. All the talk of victory parades in Simferopol is just that. Ukraine is NEVER getting Crimea back. Period.
