Default Vkontakte.ru vs. "Headhunters"

Quote:
VKontakte asks authorities to reign in "fascist" antipedophiles

Socian network "VKontakte" has contacted police to take action against informal movement "Hunters for heads", which is "spreading false information through the media".

"VKontakte" notes, that in the activists' group are published calls for violence and vigilante courts against suspected pedophiles, as well as "videos of bloody executions" of suspected pedophiles. The network also provided a screenshot of a recruitment poster in the group calling young "fighters" to the cause.

"We need young men in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. We do not just scare pedophiles, we beat them until they beg for death.", - says the advertisement, - "Do not worry about criminal prosecution - we have many good friends".

On 17th July activists of the "Hunters of heads" themselves contacted the police demanding they block "VKontakte" for making pornographic materials accessible to underaged viewers on the site. The activists also demanded the network's head, Pavel Durov, be brought to criminal responcibility by article 135 of Russian Criminal Code "Philandering Actions".

The "Hunters" also noted, that child pornography is also present on the site. They claim Durov himself confessed to it, though he now vehemently denies it.

Well, these headhunters are the most violent antipedophile group in Russia. The others maybe have a stern talk with pedos they catch, maybe beat them up a little. But these guys actually kill many of them. Here is security camera footage of "headhunters" after they just beat to death a supposed pedophile in the stairs of a building in the city of Tver.

I don't know. I like what they do, but... not necessarily their methods.

The key problem with vigilante justice is that often as not, they attack/kill innocent people (mistaken identity, poor information, no evidence, etc). In the end, they just create more injustice, more bloodshed and more tragedy. Russia hardly needs more of that.

That's why vigilantes are always hunted down by the police over here. They are often treated like animals by the police.

In the US convicted pedophiles are most often separated from the general prison population. If not, they face almost immediate death from other prisoners. Yes, I've been told by career criminals that some particularly despicable examples are placed within reach of prison 'vigilante justice'.

Here, as I explained in another thread, all convicted of sex crimes, but particularly sex crimes against children, become petukhi, "roosters", in the prison camps, an inferior underclass of prisoners used for sex by the other men there (for lack of women). A part of it is a forced feminization, where the "roosters" are made to paint their lips and wear mascara, to resemble women more

They are also given feminine names, and sexually appealing ones, like this Sergei Adamov became Lolita.

They are not considered humans nor are treated as such. A petukh is common property of his cell mates. They can be sold or traded between groups of prisoners for other "roosters", or for alcohol, cigarettes, narcotics, money, weapons (like knives for example), etc.

Much the same in US prisons in that the strong prey on the weak.

In women's prisoners here too. Child killers are targeted there. Women prisoners hate child killers. I recently saw on TV one woman convicted of killing her baby was horribly beaten and kicked to death in a women's penal colony in Siberia. Yes, they do not tolerate that there, child killers, they kill them.
