Studies of Violence & Conflict
For those of you who may be interested in conflict resolution and/or studies of violence, here' a good site with a half dozen links of current papers in the field. I haven't read any of the papers yet, but I certainly will.
1. Is a General Theory of Violence Possible?
2. Micro and Macro Causes of Violence
3. Violence, Crime and Violent Crime
4. Is a General Theory of Socially Disapproved Violence Possible (or Necessary)?
5. Violence as Situational Action
6. Conceptual and Theoretical Frameworks for Organized Violence
etc.

Please feel free to use this thread for discussions about these papers or the topic generally.
