Hey guys. I just made a new game to play. It doesn't seem as though too many games have been hosted late and none were available when I showed up, so I decided to take some initiative. :)

If you want to try again, I'd wait until Monday (when the forum is most busy) to get 6-7 players.

Btw, using a 48 hour rule might help Korimyr and perhaps some others. Some people have had trouble with the 24hour cycle a few times previously.

We could try to set one up at the phpDiplomacy site and let it be the 3 or 4 of us and a few strangers.

Since things are kinda slow around here these days, I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in firing up some more online Diplomacy. I'd be up for either a 5-7 player game or one of our 1-on-1 face-offs.

Personally I'd prefer a 72 hour turn clock if that works for other players.

You could perhaps try Ars Regendi again? We're all still involved with that game.

(btw, the assassination of your previous Regent cost my portfolio HUGE money that I've only just recovered from the loss!)

O, sorry about your portfolio.
If people are still into Ars Regendi that's fine; I don't know if it's my cup of tea, though. I couldn't see any way interact with other players, and while the simulation aspect of it was interesting, I never felt invested in my little nation (which doubtless explains why I didn't look too hard for a 'pause' option before going on vacation).
Anyway, I'm glad other people are enjoying it; just thought I'd see if anyone was interested in Diplomacy.

Yea, I'm still game for diplomacy, but a 72 hour clock is way too long to keep my attention; years ago, I used to play dozens of games on 24 hour clocks at a time!

Alternatively, does our game engine allow for gameplay on only certain days of the week? When I played on DPJudge and Dipbounced, they had options such as no holidays, no weekends, and emergency call-ins.

Well, I'm not enthusiastic about Diplomacy, but I'm willing to play to make up a group. :)

As such, I'll play by any setup you guys want.
