The Periodic Table of Videos...

The website’s main page contains a periodic table with links to short (about five minute) videos on all 118 chemical elements. It is the brainchild of video-journalist Brady Haran, who teamed up with a group of chemists — most notably the Einstein-haired Martyn Poliakoff — from Nottingham University to produce the short films.

I just thought I'd share... I'm not sure who might be interested, but here it is. :)

Calcium features about the most endearing nerdy girl I've ever seen. I just feel so sorry for her awkwardness.

The regular frizzy-haired professor is just so ... typical. I think they created him out of a textbook because he just seems too cartoonish to be real.

Love the videos. The earth metals are the most spectacular ones but I haven't of course watched them all.
