This is a Slate article that surveys the state of immigration in various European nations (Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Ireland and Spain).

The focus of the article is on what the US could learn from Europe on immigration issues. Personally, I'm not sure if there is anything that the US can learn from Europe on this issue - indeed, it looks to me that Europe has generally a far greater problem with immigration than the US does. Though, there certainly are some very strong similarities between the US and the European immigration problems.

I'm very curious what our European members have to say about this topic. :)
