Sabbar Kashur, 30, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Monday after the court ruled that he was guilty of rape by deception. According to the complaint filed by the woman with the Jerusalem district court, the two met in downtown Jerusalem in September 2008 where Kashur, an Arab from East Jerusalem, introduced himself as a Jewish bachelor seeking a serious relationship. The two then had consensual sex in a nearby building before Kashur left.
When she later found out that he was not Jewish but an Arab, she filed a criminal complaint for rape and indecent assault.
I would typically make a mild comment followed by a comical comment when posting a thread based on a news story, but that just doesn't sit right with me on this story. This one just pisses me off.
How can a nation of bigots (themselves victims of thousands of years of bigotry :ummm:) be so blatant in their hatred of a cultural rival in our modern world? Sure, I know there are still plenty of bigots running around this fucking dirtball, but how many of those are state sponsored? Even more curious, how many of those groups are the state? Furthermore, why the fuck are we bombing poor Pakistanis and Afghans when we should be bombing the fuck out of these assholes? It makes me want to throw molotovs at Israeli tanks and APCs.
To me, this is the equivalent of a 1/2 black, 1/2 white guy convincing a rich white girl that he's white so he can fuck her and then getting a prison sentence for fucking a white girl. :shrug: Goddamn right there should be riots.
