The U.S. included the notorious leader of Chechen militants, Doku Umarov, on its list of terrorists, the U.S. Department of State said on Thursday.About time. Before, killing Americans in 9/11 was bad; killing Russians in Beslan was fine. About time your government did the right thing.

Really? I thought the US had the various Chechen separatist groups listed as official terrorists back in 2001. :ummm:

GW Bush listed them as a sop to Russia to make sure Russia didn't interfere with the planned Iraqi invasion.

I suppose you might be referring to the particular naming of the leader on the list. :shrug:
