It's 20min but its well worth the time.

I live in Alberta and what struck me most deeply about this video was the way that West Virginia politicians sound identical to Alberta politicians and how the landscape and destruction are almost a perfect match. Its as if they have the exact same script.....

Yes, the wholesale removal of mountain tops in West Virginia is horrifying. The pictures indeed look actually worse than the Tar Sands construction project. :eek:

Indeed, I can well imagine an analysis being made 100 years from now - and pointing at this mountain-top removal form of mining as the 'peak' of western environmental destruction.
