I don't even know if this is allowed here, but I have a forum and I'm looking for new members. I literally just became an admin because someone else I know didn't want to do it so I took over. It's just me there at the moment and I'm going to alter some things but if you want to join here's the address:

http://z10.invisionfree.com/USDA/index.php?

The USDA stands for United Social Democrats of America. I didn't make it up but it's not bad. It's intened for them I guess but all are welcome, provided you abide by the rules that I'll post later.

I always though USDA was the US Department of Agriculture!

Anyway, you really ought to spam your forum already - zero threads and zero posts isn't very inviting for prospective members. I'd join up to help you to get the thing started, but I'm no social democrat.

(I'm also NOT a fan of those free-hosted forums with animated advertising)

Yeah, USDA is kind of an unfortunate acronym...

I'm also not an SD, but I wish you good luck with your forum.

Looks better now. :)

So now what you need to do is make lots of posts here (which will increase your number of signature-links to your forum). If you put your forum address in your signature at all forums you are a member of, you will get added link-backs to your own forum. This is important for search-engine rankings. :)

And I suggest replacing the actual address in your signature with either a quote or the name of the forum and then hyperlinking it. People who haven't read this thread don't know what that address is and will be reluctant to click on it as is.

EDIT: I just tried the link in your signature and it seems dead.

Dead link for me.

The signature link has a double 'http' thingie and thus is non-functional. The link in the OP works fine.

I have a three-forum-at-a-time rule, and this one seems to have become my permanent third, so unless I start shopping around for a fourth, I probably won't be jumping on another any time soon. But the changes you've made from how it looked when you first linked are definitely good ones.
